Derrick Henry, the NFL's leading rusher in 2023, scored the first touchdown of the 2024 season, giving the Baltimore Ravens a 7-0 lead over the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC Divisional Round.

Henry's Touchdown Caps Off Impressive Drive

Henry's touchdown came at the end of an impressive 12-play, 75-yard drive for the Ravens. Quarterback Lamar Jackson led the way, completing 7 of 10 passes for 63 yards. Henry carried the ball 6 times for 32 yards on the drive.

The touchdown was Henry's first since Week 17 of the 2023 season. He missed the final two games of the regular season with a foot injury.

Ravens Defense Forces Three-and-Out

The Ravens defense forced the Chiefs to a three-and-out on their opening possession. Defensive end Calais Campbell sacked Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes for a 7-yard loss on third down.

The Chiefs will now look to respond on their next possession. They will need to find a way to slow down the Ravens' offense, which is averaging 6.0 yards per play in the first quarter.
