BERLIN AP Erling Haaland and Jadon Sancho both scored twice as Borussia Dortmund withstood a second-half fightback in teeming rain to beat Leipzig 4-1 in the German Cup.

Dortmund took a 3-0 lead into halftime thanks to goals from Haaland, Sancho, and Thorgan Hazard.

Leipzig pulled a goal back through Dani Olmo in the 71st minute, but Haaland and Sancho added further goals to seal the win.

The victory gives Dortmund their fifth DFB-Pokal title and their first since 2017.
